Rhiannon is a major figure in medieval Welsh myths.  The goddess is strongly associated with horses, birds, and wind, as well as prosperity and sovereignty.  She is a beautiful, strong-minded, intelligent, politically strategic, and otherworldly woman.

This work was originally conceived in early 2020 as a gift to a renowned singer - who also served as the model for the goddess.  It was a tribute to the singer's beloved horse, who had died unexpectedly.  The work is currently being refurbished in a more universal manner -- slated to be completed and available as a museum-quality Giclee on either canvas or archival paper by the end of 2021.
