Conceived in 2020, "Aequilibrium" is the artist's powerful allegorical portrayal of this unprecedented time when humanity can no longer deny the spiritual battle between good and evil that has been foretold via myth and religion for eons.  
The design intuitively came out as a yin yang symbol, which represents the duality of light and dark that comprises all of life.  As conveyed by that ancient symbol, when darkness reaches its zenith point it naturally transitions into light.   And the characteristics of these polarities are entirely opposite, as is Love vs Hate, Compassion vs Narcissism., or Generosity vs Gluttony.  Here, even the forces of nature join in to take down the Darkness with devastation in its wake as the benevolence of Light comes into play.  Hence, Darkness birth Light as Light ultimately births Darkness.  Thus, the ongoing cycling duality of life continues.
